John Ehrman was already working hard as a philanthropist with his scholarship called Shining Star Scholarship, and now he made a huge donation of $500,000 to the Nicholas and Adele Calderone Scholarship Fund in memory of his grandparents, from whom he learned his appreciation of the arts. His grandma played the piano and continued to sing until the day she died earlier this year. They took him to art museums and the opera and made sure he understood how important they are in life. He sees this donation as a tribute to his grandparents for everything they were able to teach him about art. The scholarship will help students who study the arts and music.
